What is the Myra Contest?
It's our annual creative and cultural format in which blind and sighted people design and create jewelry together, working on touch, materials, and hands-on experience. It was created to center the jewelry-making process as an accessible, shared, and tangible experience.
First edition
15 participants , both blind and sighted , took part in a hands-on creative process, working side by side to design jewelry using methods designed to be truly accessible to all. This experience of work and research into jewelry design gave rise to the first Myra Lab collection .
